NDUSTRIAL CENTRIFUGAL FANS

Drive Arrangements

Indirect Drive:
The impeller is mounted on a shaft supported by bearings and bearing housing. The bearing housing is mounted on the pedestal. This arrangement is used when the motor speed does not permit direct drive.

Direct Drive:
The impeller is mounted on the motor shaft. This arrangement is preferable when the fan speed corresponds to a synchronous motor speed.

Arrangement 1
For belt drive. Impeller overhung & pulley centerhung or overhung. Two bearings mounted on pedestal at drive side.

Arrangement 2
For direct drive. No coupling. Impeller overhung. No bearings. Impeller mounted on motor shaft. Includes only: housing, impeller and pedestal for motor.

Arrangement 3
For belt drive. Impeller and pulley overhung. Two bearings mounted on pedestal at drive side. Motor mounted on rails attached to pedestal.

Arrangement 4
For direct drive. Has flexible coupling Impeller overhung. Two Bearings mounted on motor pedestal at drive end. Includes only: housing, impeller, shafts, two bearings, motor pedestal.

Arrangement
For belt drive. Pulley and impeller overhung. Two bearings in single housing mounted on blower housing at drive side.

Arrangement 6
For belt drive. Impeller centerhung. Pulley overhung. Two bearings mounted on housing at inlet and drive sides. Also fumished for DIDW construction.
